We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Automation and Robotics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of Industrial Automation solutions and a stellar record of success in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within target industries as well as strategically expending into other sectors with potential applications.

- Develop and maintain a strong Sales pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.

- Understand client needs and propose tailored automation and robotics solutions.

- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into effective solutions.

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape.

- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses to prospective clients.

- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company’s offerings.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS

- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

- At least 5 –7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management in the Automation, Robotics, or Industrial Technology/Manufacturing sectors.

- Strong understanding of Automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, sensors, machine vision, or control systems, and their potential applications within various industries.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
