Supply Chain Manager

This role is critical to ensuring Materials and Finished Goods move efficiently across domestic and international markets while meeting the unique requirements of private-label Customers. The Supply Chain Manager will lead Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Supply Chain coordination to support on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with Food Safety and Trade regulations.

Summary

- Source and manage suppliers for food ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials.

- Manage Procurement and Logistics to meet private label Customer specifications and timelines.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with Suppliers and Logistics partners.

- Oversee Import/Export Operations (documentation, customs clearance, CFIA/FDA compliance, Incoterms, freight forwarding).

- Coordinate closely with private label Customers to align Supply Chain activities with their packaging, labeling, and distribution needs.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and fulfillment.

- Optimize transportation and warehousing for domestic and international shipments.

- Lead and mentor Supply Chain team members.

- Ensure compliance with Food Safety standards (GMP, HACCP, AAFCO) and Global Trade regulations.

Qualifications

- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

- 5+ years of Supply Chain/Procurement Management experience in Food Manufacturing.

- Conversational fluency in Mandarin.

- Proven experience managing private-label Customer Programs in a manufacturing setting.

- Strong knowledge of import/export operations (customs, CFIA, FDA, Incoterms, freight forwarding).

- ERP and Inventory Management expertise.

- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.

- Strong understanding of Food Safety and regulatory requirements.
